The Grand final forms a key part of our yearly fundraising. The event effectively enables the club to function, conducting our football development initiatives which in recent years have seen huge strides in local involvement in the game and in 2018 the women’s squad taking flight. 2018’s Grand Final stands as one of the best ever both in terms of funds raised attendance and event quality. Several fundraisers on the day are to be thanked for supporting everything we do and our guests who all contributed to our fund raising endeavours on the day, many of whom were rewarded with the amazing prizes you see listed below. If you ever get a chance please support all of these companies as their support of our club enables us to do so much more than kick a Sherrin around every now and then!

Check out the amazing prizes that were available on the day courtesy of our amazing donors via the raffle, pick-a-player and margin games:

Some special mentions going above and beyond to help us raise funds – Adam Zakaroff for his support in connecting the Swans to uncle Jezza who signed a 2018 Carlton jumper which was auctioned with this piece of art and won by Hall of Famer and long time club sponsor Micky Francis from Vietnam Backpacker Hostels via live video link up from our Hanoi event.

The Sydney Swans Football Club for providing us with a 2018 team signed jumper for auction fetching a fantastic price going to another fantastic sponsor Craig Jacko Jackson the owner of Al Frescos Group which of course includes the amazing Jaspas brand.

The Bike Shop in Thao Dien for donating a fantastic bike which was auctioned to raise funds for Loreto – an always worthy cause.

Merrick as well as for being here as a special guest but bringing a Collingwood jumper that is/will be a unique piece of memorabilia – a 2010 Grand Final edition Collingwood jumper signed by then captain Nick Maxwell, now captain Scott Pendelbury and now coach Nathan Buckley. Despite the less than a kick loss this jumper connects some amazing Magpie stories and stands to grow in value in 2019!

Final thanks to X Digital for providing all the designs for the weekend posters, promo materials and more!
