The Swans are delighted to announce our corporate partners for a massive 2016.
With five returning “Platinum Sponsors” Al Fresco’s Group, Commonwealth Bank, CVP, Dragon Industry Holdings Ltd and Wide Eyed Tours, in addition to a fantastic new partnership with Vietnam Backpacker Hostels, the Swans are well placed to continue their growth as one of AFL Asia’s leading clubs.
Owned by Swannies hall-of-fame legend Mick Francis and with a growing list of locations in Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, Halong Bay and Sapa, the Swans are excited about the great potential of the new platinum partnership with Vietnam Backpacker Hostels and we welcome them on board!
The Swans have been extremely fortunate to enjoy strong support from the corporate sector right across Vietnam for many years now and we could not be happier to welcome back our long-term sponsors and great mates Al Fresco’s Group, Commonwealth Bank, Timmy Clements’ Dragon Industry Holdings – Asia’s asset and investment solution specialists, and leading Australian-owned/Vietnam based travel company Wide Eyed Tours for another successful year ahead.
Global full service automotive supplier CVP are also back for a second year of platinum sponsorship, with the Club very grateful to legendary IndoChina Cup goal kicker Kev Wilkinson for his continued support.
The Swannies’ “Gold Sponsorship” is another great way we can partner with and support a wide range of organisations across Vietnam and we look forward to building upon strong partnerships with International SOS, RMIT University, Lagler, Green World, Aussie Home Loans, Saigon Logic, AIS Saigon, Crown Relocations and QBE.
The “Official Venue of the Vietnam Swans” program successfully kicked off last year and the Club is very pleased to this year be able to grow upon this to include some new cities and great new venues to watch AFL footy at in 2016. Returning as important club sponsors is The Republic in Hanoi and Tommy’s Sports Bar in Vung Tau and we welcome Saigon’s Champion Sports Bar, Murphy’s Danang and the Hue Backpackers Hostel along as new official venues.
Now in their second year of operation, The Republic have firmly established themselves as the premier venue to watch sport in Hanoi and we welcome all Swans supporters to check out the magnificent 2015 Manila Cup in the new Swans trophy cabinet next time your in Tay Ho.
With the closing of iconic Swans venue The Spotted Cow, we welcome Champion Sports Bar into the fold as our new home in Saigon.
The Anzac Friendship Game wouldn’t happen without the strong support we have received from Glenn Nolan at the Tommy’s Sports Bar in Vung Tau for many years now, with the pub housing the most extensive collection of AFL Asia memorabilia in the world.
Murphy’s were a strong supporter of the 2016 Central Vietnam Games and we are delighted we can now watch footy in a friendly place in Danang and Hue through the expanding our program to Murphy’s and Vietnam Backpacker’s Hue Hostel.
The Swans would just not be able to kick so many goals on and off the field without the support of all these corporate partners and we sincerely thank them all for their support in this massive year for the Club as host the AFL Asian Champs for the first time in October.
