Congratulations to all the participants in AFL-X Hanoi! After a full day of footy out at My Dinh Stadium, we also held our 2018 presentation night on 8 December at Turtle Lake Brewing Company. The team behind Turtle Lake were absolutely superb: thanks for having us!
The Swans traditionally make several awards each year, but with the arrival of the Lady Swans we added a heap of new ones in 2018! Read on for all the winners…
A Huge Year for the Club
2018 was a huge year for the Club!
New Life Member!
Congratulations to Kyle Hackenberg on his Life Membership of The Vietnam Swans!
Pictured above, Kyle is most famous for regular “don’t argue” fend-offs and one particular half-field run and goal on ANZAC Day that bought the entire crowd to their feet.
Kyle has been an active part of the Swans for 9 seasons on the field and behind the scenes. You can read more about Kyle contributions to the Club over here.
Kyle, thanks for your contributions to the Club and congratulations once again on the achievement!

Exceptional Off-Field Contributions to the Club
President Eric Kerrison recognised several outstanding off-field contributions to the Club.
Travis Fennell, Craig Jackson and Mick Francis have been supporters of The Vietnam Swans for a very long time. Their input to the Club has been invaluable in reaching where we are now: signed jerseys were presented as a small token of our appreciation.
President’s Awards were also made to Thomas Delaney and Shane Wall for their support throughout 2018 in the north and the south. Congratulations guys!
