AFL-X Hanoi was a great success, with over 90 players taking part. AFL-X is a modified game of Australian Rules Football, intended for smaller fields and suitable for mixed teams.
With designs from the legends at NINja Ink Tattoo, our six teams were:
- Hoan Kiem Herons (presented by Wide Eyed Tours)
- Cau Giay Crabs (presented by Al Fresco’s)
- Ba Dinh Buffalos (presented by Vietnam Backpacker Hostels)
- Long Bien Langurs (presented by Beachside Boutique Resort Hoi An)
- Tay Ho Turtles (presented by Turtle Lake Brewing Company)
- Phu Thuong Pangolins (presented by Places2Go Travel)

Football was the real winner on the day, but for the record, it was the Herons who took out the cup, captained by Jake Norris and mentored by Tracey Johnson.
