In the lead up to ANZAC Day 2010, the Vietnam Swans have just received the following email:
“We are travelling to Vietnam during April and will be in the Ho Chi Minh area on ANZAC Day.
My Father was in WWII in New Guinea and Borneo and my Brother was in Vietnam.
We would love to come to the Dawn Service at Long Tan.”
All visitors attending the Long Tan Dawn Service are required to notify the local People’s Committee in advance. Full details can be found on the Australian Embassy’s website including travel agencies that can arrange transportation.
For those travelling with the Vietnam Swans and attending the ANZAC Match on Saturday 24 April 2010 at the Vung Tau Greyhound Racetrack, we shall assist with the relevant paperwork and transportation. More details to follow.
