The Auscham Typhoon Appeal

Following Typhoon Ketsana, which recently slammed into the Philippines and Central Vietnam, the Australian Chamber of Commerce (Auscham) has established an appeal for the victims in Vietnam.

People can donate cash through the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA will waive all fees) and/or they can donate goods at several locations. Crown Relocations has agreed to ship the goods to the typhoon devastated areas free of charge.

Commonwealth Bank and Crown Relocations are both sponsors of the Vietnam Swans.

As of 16 October 2009, 57,000,000 (US$3,200) has been raised. Further, Crown Relocations has picked up 23 boxes of clothes, toys and other miscellaneous items.
