The exciting news coming out of Melbourne at the moment is that former resident Swannie, Phil Jordan and his partner, Laurey, have just given birth to Willow Julene Jordan!

On Friday, Phil wrote, “Just got back from the hospital after a lengthy session there.

“I am now the proud father of a little girl, Willow Julene Jordan, born 6.46pm, Thursday, 6 June, weight 3.58kg.

“Both mun and bubs are doing well but shattered.”

With Phil J’s penchant for smoking, it’s probably fair to say that, during the birth, Laurey wouldn’t have been the only one puffing.

All the Swannies send our best wishes and congratulations to Phil and Laurey on their super exciting news.

And, in the current climate of Swannies leaving Vietnam, it’s nice to know that our “Breed a Swannie” program is now delivering. Very soon, we will also have new Swannies from Dez and Fleur Limbrick as well as Dukesy and Pia.

In related news, a rumour is now circulating that Phil Jordan’s new business venture, Golf Life Tours, is about to confirm a sponsorship of the Vietnam Swans. It is also believed that Gold Life Tours is planning to run a golf tour next year that will be scheduled to coincide with the ANZAC Friendship Match. Watch this space.
