Last week, the Swans Blog crossed a Rooster with a Finn. Subsequent discussions between the two seem to be bearing fruit which means the future of Finnish football could be in good hands.

Yesterday, Tim Smyth from Phnom Penh was discovered after an administrative error was exposed in Saigon when we followed up on a lonely email address in a spreadsheet marked, “Confirmed Players for Champs”.

Today, Tim Smyth was rediscovered on the Swans Blog by a long lost mate, Stephen Mayne. By Crikey, that’s an amazing coincidence. Stephen needs him for a 20 year school reunion.

Now brace for another Crikey Coincidence: Chris Canty is a former Hanoi Swan (who doesn’t know Tim) and also works for Crikey.
