Fundraiser at Australian Embassy, Hanoi - tonight.

Tonight, in the Matilda’s Bar of the Australian Embassy in Hanoi (8 Dao Tan Street, Ba Dinh District), a fund raiser will be held for the victims of the Victorian bushfires. The schedule is as follows:

• 5.30pm – Opening address and one minute’s silence in memory of the bushfire victims.
• 5.40pm – Raffles commence. Prizes include hampers, gift vouchers and a weekend spa package.
• 6.30pm – Auctions. Hotel accommodation, taxation advice packages, LCD TVs etc.

Please note that all people entering the Embassy’s grounds must produce photo identification (eg passport).

On Friday 27 February, Jaspas (Level 4, Hanoi Towers, 49 Hai Ba Trung Street) will hold a fundraiser from 18.00 – 20.30. Entry is 200,000VND and you can enjoy free flow beer, wine and basic spirits as well as finger food. All proceeds will go to the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.
