Yesterday the Hong Kong Dragons played the Philippine Eagles in the 14th Annual Asian Championships: at the Royal Polo and Equestrian Grounds outside of Pattaya, Thailand.

In the semi finals, the Hong Kong Dragons beat the Singapore Wombats.

In the Grand Final, the Dragons beat the Philippine Eagles, 4. 5. 29 to 2. 3. 15.

The Dragons’ victory was their second in as many years.

A total of 13 countries, a record number, played in the Champs.

The Vietnam Swans played the Philippines, Singapore, Japan and Cambodia losing the first two and winning the last two.

Congratulations to Hanoian, Ben Kilsby, who picked up an All Asian jumper at the official presentations.
