On Wednesday, Australia’s Foreign Minister, Kevin Rudd, was in Saigon. Among other things, he opened RMIT University’s new gymnasium and residential complex. RMIT is where the Swannies train in Saigon.
While Mr Rudd was there, he had the pleasure of meeting Swannie, Dave “Angry” Hadley.
After that, Kevin visited the Long Tan Cross.
On Monday 25 April, two days after the 2011 ANZAC Friendship Match, more than 1,000 people are expected to gather at the Long Tan Cross for the ANZAC Dawn Service.
