The Coaching Panels in Hanoi and Saigon have been busily deliberating upon possible candidates to coach the Legends and All Stars teams on Saturday 27 April when they play each other in the curtain raiser to the 2013 ANZAC Friendship Match.

The esteemed panels have selected Micky Johnston and our resident MC, Matt Townsend.

Upon receiving the news /invitation, Matt, a big game player, nonchalantly replied, “Sure. What does a coach do again?”

Matt added that “it’ll be a barrel of laughs, and we’ll make it a real game for everyone participating. Also: I am the coach of the All-Stars. MJ is the coach of the Legends, because he is old.”

Micky J, forever the statesman, replied with “I am willing to break bread (rather than heads) with MT at the Dog Park (unlike those other M&Ms who once ‘ruled’ Vic Park) to ensure this makes everyone keen for MORE when the players for the second match of the day enter the arena.”

“Count me in.”
