Nat Payne works out for the Asian Champs at the Taj.

While Collingwood may send its best to Arizona for training camps, the Swannies “All Asian”, Nat Payne has sent himself to India for his own training camp in the lead up to this year’s Asian Champs.

Nat, seen photographed above in front of the Taj Mahal, writes:

Just letting the high rollers at the Swans know that the Champs training never stops, even at the Taj Mahal.

After I ran 30 laps I did 400 push ups , 600 sit ups and 100 prayers on my newly purchased prayer mat.

To our coach, Josh, you will be pleased to know that my driver, Pritam Kumar, did my bag lifts for me.  In and out of the boot of the car every single day.

I will def be back at my playing weight even though I tried to stack it on with curries for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Nat reads well. However, we would have preferred more pictorial evidence to support his impressive claims. In one photo, he’s seen doing half a sit up while cradling his head; in the other, well, he hardly looks set to pounce, does he!

What a unique All Asian unit.
