He’s a legend in AFL ranks; first as a player, then as the premiership winning coach with the Sydney Swans.
He started his career with Fitzroy (now the Brisbane Lions); but made his name with the Sydney Swans, first as a player, then six years as captain, and was then appointed coach in 2003. All up he played 17 seasons at the top level.
