Gus and Gerry take on the Giant
On 18 July 2009, the Vietnam Swans played an internal scratch match in Hoi An, Central Vietnam.
Thanks to Rob from Club sponsor, Odyssey Resources, we now have never-seen-before photos of that seriously awesome trip.
The match was played between the Vics (wearing our new jumpers) and the Rest of the World (wearing our previous Sydney Swans jumpers). Not surprisingly, it was the Vics who won. Fairly convincingly… Whichever way you look at it, the Vics are pretty good.

In the photo to the left, Gus wasn’t able to get a touch of the footy but fortunately, he wasn’t always up against Drew. There is photographic evidence that Gus did have some touches during the match.
