It’s the best sentence in history. FOOTY IS BACK and we are back for our second instalment of SAFL this Saturday morning down at RMIT District 7. The big bounce from razor Wayne will be at 11.30 but make sure to get down early from about 10.45 to set up the ground for the BIG clash between the Tigers and Crocs vs the Bears and Vipers.

We’ll all be looking out to see if Cam King can steam ahead with the goals after notching 5 on opening round. There are plenty men hot on his heels with Jakey, Tish, Teaguey and Pete with 2 goals all hoping to close the gap. We’ll be hoping for some big tackles, intercepts and marks from key backs Matty B on his first run for the vipers this year. Jacob who is smashing it down in back the last year and we all wanna see those big bombs from new face Fionn aswell as what the girls can do on the park after Alanna put down a huge mark in the first game running rings around the fellas and delivering some great disposals.

As for the table standings it’s tight at the top with the Bears and Crocs taking the points after a cracking contest in the first game with 61-59 win to put the two teams out in front early days. Which team will wanna take the next step and be the front runners and stay undefeated?

Meanwhile for the Tigers and Vipers they will want to notch there first win of the season and possibly leap to second place on the table with a big differential this weekend. Or who will be left with nothing and chasing the pack after 2 weekends??

There is a lot online not to mention this is our last hit out game before our massive clash against the Malaysian warriors at RMIT on the 6th of April. We will be looking to see who can stamp there name on the team sheet for the massive test in a few weeks.

So pack your boots, water, sunscreen, ID, dark and light top and get yourself, your friends, family and everyone in your district down to RMIT this Saturday morning for the monster tie. If you haven’t attended before please get in touch with a member about putting your name down on the list so that you can get into the ground hassle free. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday morning.
