The Vietnam Swans are delighted to announce that Sam Conroy is our new Saigon President elect.

Sam will take over from the departing President, Derrin Limbrick, at the end of the year, after the Indochina Cup Tour and the Swannies’ End of Season Christmas Party & BnF.

Sam, the current serving Secretary in Saigon and Regional Operations Development Manager for Linfox Logistics, was elected to the 12 month position unopposed.

Members had five days from last Friday until last night to either nominate themselves or be nominated for the position. While there were no other nominations, there were plenty of members endorsing Sam.

So, as for our high powered Presidential Committee, which comprised the National and Saigon Presidents, National Treasurer,, Coach and  Vung Tau Rep, well, they didn’t have to do too much.

Sam’s Committee will be elected by the members in January 2012 after the Christmas/New Year holidays.
