The Swannies in Saigon at the magnificent Estella Development yesterday.

Yesterday could have been a problem for the Swannies in Saigon when the RMIT Oval was unavailable – just two weeks before the celebrated ANZAC Friendship Match is played in Vung Tau.

Luckily, Keppel Land came to the rescue and offered us use of their green space at the new Estella Development in District 2 in HCMC.

It was a great facility and the Swannies were really able to stretch our legs in a practise match that was won by the Reds – who also welcomed back Mr Qui.

According to the website, the Estella development “caters to the upper-income homebuyers and is poised to meet the growing demand for well-planned residential estates.

“The Estella offers residents a quality lifestyle with a comprehensive range of recreational facilities including a clubhouse, a swimming pool and tennis courts in lush surrounds and under 24-hour security.

“In line with Keppel Land’s philosophy of building sustainable and green developments, The Estella was the first development in Vietnam to obtain the Green Mark Gold Award from the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore. It was also named the ‘Best Condominium Development’ in Vietnam at the South East Asia Property Awards 2011.”

The Vietnam Swans very much thank Keppel Land and Estella for use of their fantastic facilities yesterday.
