This Sunday 16th November, join Hanoi’s Irish and Australian communities and their mates for this historic first ever game of International Rules football in Hanoi between the Swannies and the Viet Celts Gaelic Football Club.

The Viet Celts Ladies will also join in the festivities with an inter-club Gaelic game.

All will then gather at The Republic at 4.45pm on Saturday 22nd November to watch the big Australia vs Ireland international live from Perth, with Republic f&b vouchers to be won.

The game will be played at the Hoa Phat FC Youth Training Grounds in My Dinh. There will be a bus heading to and from My Dinh via Tay Ho. Details will be posted on the Facebook Event Invitation closer to the date.

“The Hanoi IR Canister”, a beverage containment device once commonly found in Hanoi’s Bia Hoi, sits forlorn on a balcony in My Dinh overlooking the fields where it will be awarded this coming Sunday.
