Swannie, Harry Hodge is the Hodge. Yesterday the Hodge joined in RMIT University’s Fun Run in Saigon. Below, the Hodge provides a detailed report.
On a muggy morning in D7, Saigon, runners of all shapes and sizes gathered at RMIT for the University’s Inaugural 5km Fun Run.
Some were in jeans, some flip flops, some in actual running shoes.
The Swans proudly showed off our jerseys lined up right at the front for the start. Dirty Brian from Ireland was the top finisher among the Swannies’ runners. Right behind (like, three seconds behind and literally the next finisher in the race) was the astounding and tremendous Hodge, representing the Maple Leaf with pride. Praise Canada.
Doc Rocket, our Umpire, was third to represent the Aussie contingent with glory.
Finishing time: Unknown. The clock was broken. How awesome is that?
To round off the morning, there was a stage show on the ovals which featured singers and dancers from RMIT’s vastly talented student body. And then came the lucky draw sponsored by Nike.

PS Dave O’Shea, I’m watching wrestling right now. I bear no resemblance to Santino Marella.
[Ed’s note: special thanks to Phil Johns for the astounding and tremendous photos above, representing the photographic industry with pride. Praise photographers.]
