The Swannies’ Fantasy Football Competitions are back in 2013!

Not only is Ross McRae the genius behind Ross McRae Design, he is also the genius of Fantasy Football having picked up the Swannies Supercoach of the Year in the previous two years.

Today, Ross announces full details of the Swannnies’ Fantasy Football Competitions for 2013.

To all Fantasy Football addicts, as you may well know, the season’s comps are now up and unlocked for you to begin selecting your teams.

This year, once again, we will be running a Vietnam Swans Pro League, Reserves League and with new additions including a Dreamteam League and a Supercoach Draft League.

After going back to back last year taking out the Supercoach Pro league, invitations are open for challengers and returning ‘coaches’ to sign up.

It’s the heavy hitters’ league.

Original Supercoacher Josh Little is returning and dummy spitter, Shagger, has so far stepped down from his interest after being the bridesmaid two years running. However, with more money up for grabs, his dearly beloved, Ms Vy, may twist his arm in getting him back on the horse. Dave O’Shea, after blitzing last year’s comp all year only to fall down in the end, will be salivating over the extra trades and looking to take out the Grand Final. Mr Paauulll’s satellite nav on his luxury trimaran, Livin’ It will be trained in on the latest games and also fired up to show the jokers. Mark Willy Williams has already fronted up his cash after multiple MSFs (Mega Swannies’ Functions) in Melbourne during Christmas and perhaps his Roos might travel a bit better this year.

Supercoach Vietnam Swans Reserves League

For those just after some fun and some extra banter, join the Magoos League. Those who miss out on the Pro league will be given a spot here.

Dreamteam Vietnam Swans League

Dave O’Shea was on top of the Dreamteam’s overall standings last year and was looking set to take out the big $50k prize money. Like his game style of all possessions and no efficiency Dave will be smashing this league.  If you are more interested in the “old man style” game, then this one is for you. With the rules changed further to allow kindergarten kids to play with unlimited trades for the year, this league will be looking for a title winning highest scoring league for the comp under Dave O’Shea’s watchful eye.

Supercoach Invitational Draft League

The new style comp has arrived, with coaches only being able to pick players on a draft set up, teams will be unique and a lot of hard work will go in pre season choosing your players.  I will await to see what interest is in this comp which will then determine the rules for the year.  Email me with any questions, opinions etc, on this league.
