The Vietnam Swans and Lao Elephants observe a minute's silence prior to the Tribute Match
In a very tightly contested tribute footy match on the weekend, the Vietnam Swans got up over the Lao Elephants by just 4 points.
It was a special and moving match that was dedicated to the victims of the recent bombings in Jakarta.
Prior to the match, the Australian Ambassador, the Deputy Minister/Counsellor from the Indonesian Embassy, and a former player of the Jakarta Bintangs spoke. Then, all players and spectators observed a minute’s silence.
