In 2018 the Swans launched our Saigon Cup concept and with help from our great sponsor Vietnam Backpacker Hostels had the Khmer Cobras join 3 local teams – the Cho Lon Crocs, the Ben Thanh Bears and the Thu Thiem Tigers.

In what was an amazing success over 60 players took to the field AND the Saigon Colts held a clinic clinic with the visiting South Melbourne Bloods. The Khmer Cambodian Cobras eventually had too many legs and took out the final.

The Cambodian Cobras will be back with a mixed squad to defend their Saigon Cup. You can bet the domestic teams are going to do anything in their powers to relieve them of it in 2019.
