The Games Come Home to Hanoi. The 2012 Indochina Cup is on next weekend.

Next weekend, 10 November 2012, the Indochina Cup comes home to Hanoi.

It started in Hanoi back in 2007. Then it moved to Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Saigon, Vientiane and now, it’s gone full circle, back to Hanoi.

Check out the official match poster designed by the indomitable and incomparable Ross McRae Design. Ah McRae, you’ve done it again!

Thailand, Cambodia, Lao and Vietnam will fight it out for the 6th Annual Indochina Cup. Vietnam will field two teams: the Reds (“A” team) and the Whites (“B”) team.

Scotty Stacey jets in tonight!

Scotty Pacey Stacey, the little bloke from Hanoi who went on to become the national Vietnam Swans’ first coach and Saigon’s first president, jets into Saigon from Australia this afternoon.

“Welcome Back Scotty Drinks” will be held at the Hog’s Breath from 6pm. Then, on Wednesday, Scotty is off to Hanoi where he will commence preparations for being one of our field umpires on Saturday for the 2012 Indochina Cup.
